6686 Sports reported on November 5 that Fiorentina is considering hiring former Monza coach Nesta to take over the team, and the latter is willing to accept an offer with a contract that lasts until June next year.

After losing the first 10 rounds of Serie A, Fiorentina fired coach Pioli and is currently considering hiring Nesta as coach. Nesta is ready to accept a short-term contract until June, with an option to renew. It is worth mentioning that Nesta has a close personal relationship with technical director Roberto Goretti, and the two had previously worked together at Reggiana and Perugia.
